Wheel selection

　　1, choose the wheel material: first consider the use of road size, obstacles, the use of residual material on the site (such as iron filings, grease), the environmental conditions (such as high temperature, room temperature or low temperature) and the weight of the wheels can carry and other different conditions to decide to choose the appropriate wheel material. For example: rubber wheels can not resist acid, grease and chemicals, super polyurethane wheels, high-strength polyurethane wheels, nylon wheels, steel wheels and high-temperature resistant wheels can be applied to different special environments.

　　2, calculate the load capacity: in order to be able to calculate the various casters need to load capacity, you must know the transportation equipment weight, the maximum load and the number of single wheels and casters used. The required load capacity of a single wheel or caster is calculated as follows:

　　T = (E + Z)/M x N:

　　--- T = required load capacity of a single wheel or caster;

　　--- E = self-weight of the transportation equipment;

　　--- Z = maximum load;

　　--- M = number of single wheels and casters used;

　　--- N = safety factor (about 1.3-1.5).

　　3, decide the size of the wheel diameter: usually the larger the diameter of the wheel the more easy to promote, the greater the load capacity is also the greater at the same time also better able to protect the ground from damage, the size of the wheel diameter should be considered first of all the weight of the load and load under the starting thrust of the truck to decide.

　　4, wheel material hard and soft choice: usually wheels have nylon wheels, super polyurethane wheels, high-strength polyurethane wheels, high-strength artificial rubber wheels, iron wheels, pumping wheel. Super polyurethane wheels, high-strength polyurethane wheels regardless of indoor and outdoor ground travel, can meet your handling requirements; high-strength synthetic rubber wheels can be applied to hotels, medical equipment, floors, wooden floors, tile floors, etc. require walking on the ground when the noise level is small and quiet; nylon wheels, iron wheels are suitable for the ground is not flat or ground with iron filings and other substances on the ground of the site; and pumping wheels are suitable for the light loads and the road is soft and uneven occasions. The pneumatic wheel is suitable for light load and soft uneven road surface.

　　5、Rotating flexibility: the larger the single wheel rotates, the more labor-saving it is; roller bearings can carry heavier loads and have higher resistance when rotating: the single wheel is installed with high-quality (bearing steel) ball bearings, which can carry heavier loads and rotate more easily, flexibly and serenely.

　　6, temperature conditions: cold and high-temperature occasions have a great impact on the casters, polyurethane wheels in minus 45 ℃ at low temperatures, rotating flexible, high-temperature wheels at high temperatures of 275 ℃ under the rotation of lightweight.
