Why do our motor housings need to be precision-tolerant, leak-free, compact, and wear-resistant? For those of you who are not sure, come and find out.

　　Precision tolerances

　　Since the internal components will release a large function to convert electrical power into mechanical rotary motion and involve a magnetic field. The output motion and input power should be maintained very accurately, so every position of the assembly needs to be well positioned. The clearance between the rotor, bearings, stator, air gap, windings, and commutator should be as small as possible.

　　Excellent air tightness

　　With regard to the absence of leakage, we consider this requirement from two points of view. On the one hand, it concerns the air bubbles inside the motor casing, which in this case should be a strict criterion. On the other hand, the clearance after assembly should be extremely small so as not to cause any lubricant to flow out of the sealed block.

　　Compactness

　　The main purpose of using a motor is to obtain continuous and stable mechanical motion. For stable operation of the entire motor, compact housings are not to be missed and aluminum is ideal for this industry. For large-scale production with regular requirements, die-cast solutions are cost-effective. High-quality, small-scale production, combined with aluminum extrusion and CNC machining, allows for very bright surfaces and is the ideal way to demonstrate good quality.

　　Resistant to wear and tear

　　When a motor is in operation, all of the main components transmitting power need to rotate upwards, which forces the relevant support parts of the component to constantly contact the inside of the housing with mechanical force. As a result of prolonged operation, the contact surfaces are prone to wear. However, the aluminum alloy has a very smooth surface with minimal roughness, which significantly reduces clashes between the contact surfaces and thus extends the working life.
